Sing Slavic is a group of all backgrounds & identities who love sharing the magic of Slavic folk songs with the greater Philadelphia Community. This West Philly-based ensemble draws inspiration from Eastern European customs to exhibit songs from countries like Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, and Russia.

Sing Slavic began in 2011 as the Philadelphia Women’s Slavic Ensemble as a small group of friends sharing their love of Slavic folk music. Since then, we have outgrown West Philly living rooms as well as the name. In 2021, we became Sing Slavic, better reflecting our current members.

Find us at all types of community events. It won’t be hard to spot us; we’ll be the ones with the Ukrainian-inspired flower crowns!
